- Is TVAtlas free? — Yes, TVAtlas is free to use today. No registration, no advertising, and no app to install. We use Google Analytics & Microsoft Clarity for anonymous usage analytics (see our Privacy Policy for opt-out details). You can start watching live television from any country instantly, right in your browser.
- Is TVAtlas legal? — Yes, TVAtlas only indexes publicly available streaming URLs and does not host any video or audio content itself. Streams are sourced from open databases such as iptv-org and famelack-data, which contain links that broadcasters have intentionally made public. However, you are responsible for ensuring your use complies with the laws of your jurisdiction.
- What kind of channels are available? — TVAtlas includes live television channels across all major categories: news, sports, entertainment, movies, music, kids, documentaries, religious, business, science, cooking, travel, and more — from over two hundred countries worldwide.
- Why is a channel not loading or buffering? — Channels are public streams hosted by external broadcasters. They can go offline due to geo-restrictions, server maintenance, or changed streaming URLs. TVAtlas automatically tries backup sources when available. Try refreshing or selecting another channel from the same country.
- How does TVAtlas get its channel data? — Channel data is aggregated from open-source databases including iptv-org and famelack-data, which are maintained by community contributors worldwide. Streams are periodically verified for availability.
- Can I watch TVAtlas on my mobile or TV? — Yes. TVAtlas works on any device with a modern web browser — desktop, tablet, phone, and smart TV. The interface is fully responsive and the HLS player works across all platforms.
- Can I add my own M3U playlist? — Yes. You can add any public M3U or M3U8 playlist URL on the Subscription page. The playlist is parsed locally in your browser and stored only in your device's local storage — it is never sent to our servers. This lets you watch channels from your own IPTV provider alongside the public directory.
- How can I suggest a new channel or report a broken link? — Since we pull data from open-source datasets, you can report broken links directly to the upstream projects: github.com/iptv-org/iptv and github.com/famelack/famelack-data.
